• September 15, 2009 - Networking - 1 + 1: Networking From the Inside-OUT. Speaker: Allison Graham, Elevate | Seminars + Strategic Development Inc. and author of "Business Cards to Business Relationships: Building the Ultimate Network".

• October 20, 2009 - Job Search: Then and Now. Speaker: Barb Smith, Job Search Coach. Looking for a job, a career change or rejoining the workforce? This talk will provide key tips on how to get the most from job search and how it has changed overtime.

• November 17, 2009 - Breaking Through the Grass Ceiling:  Barriers to Rural Women. The talk will focus on some of the socio-structural challenges to contemporary rural women. Speaker: Helene Cummings, Associate Professor, Division of Sociology and Family Studies, Brescia University College.

• December 8, 2009 - Silent Auction & Social: Last Minute Stocking Stuffers & Gifts. Guests, friends, spouses, significant others welcome. N.B. This is the 2nd Tuesday of the month. • February 16, 2010 - Voluteerism in Third World Countries. Speaker: Cora McNamara, Nancy Campbell Collegiate Institute. The talk will focus on the how the student population becomes involved in world-wide social issues and often visit different countries to inspire and learn. Topics of interest include "the equality of men and women, elimination of prejudice, substance abuse, and unity in diversity." • April 20, 2010 - Women Moving Foward! Speaker: Linda Davis, BPWL Resolutions Chair. Elections will also be held at this meeting.

• May 18, 2010 - Lead by Selling Your Ideas Effectively. Learn how to successfully sell your ideas by creating compelling stories and making them meaningful to others. Speaker: Colleen Sharen Assistant Professor, Management and Organizational Studies, Brescia University. 

• June 15, 2010 - Gourmet Barbeque and Social. BBQ will be at Carole Orchard's home. Cost is $30 for members and guests. Members, friends, significant others invited. Details to follow.
