CEO of The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, Nancy Sutherland, will discuss how her organization and other not-for-profits raise money.
- October 18, 2016 - Workplace Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Violence
Elizabeth Hewitt, LLB of E. Hewitt Law will be the keynote speaker at this community fundraiser event. Ms Hewitt practices extensively in the area of employment and commercial litigation, with a particular expertise in human rights, harassment and discrimination.
Ms Hewitt will discuss the best practices and common pitfalls of workplace harassment, bullying and discrimination and how these issues cost both employer and employees, join BPW London and learn the best practices and common pitfalls.

Jennifer Christie, Global 4-H Network Summitt Event Chair 4-H Canada, will be discussing her role as Chair, Ag Women's Network, mentoring in a new networking group and how they survive in the perceived male dominated agriculture industry. How does bias in the industry affect job acquistion and women's leadership in agriculture?

Join BPW London for a festive social and traditional turkey dinner. Guests, friends, spouses, significant others welcome. Cost is $35 for members and guests. N.B. This is the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Raffle items, wine bucket raffle & more. BPW London will be accepting donations to fill baskets of food for the London Ontario Christmas Basket Brigade.

Anita Watkins, Anita Watkins Photography and part-time high school teacher. Anita will tell us her story of how she got involved in the Leap Fear Project and photography.
- February 21, 2017 - From Overseas to London - Two Courageous Women's Stories
The stories of two women who recently came from outside Canada to London to live and why they chose London and the organization, World Tailors, that helps them.
- March 21, 2017 - A Woman's Life in a War Torn Country
The life of women who are living with families in war torn countries - Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan. How do they feed their families? What happens to young girls with no education or work prospects? The founder of London's Syrian Refugee Fund and North American Public and Media Relations Director, National Coalition of Syrian and Revolution and Opposition Forces, Mariam Hamou, will discuss these issues.

- April 18, 2017 - Ontario Women's Vote - 100 Year Anniversary
Review and discussion of resolutions developed by Business & Professional Women's clubs across Canada. Facilitator: Resolutions Chair, Dr. Carole Orchard.
- May 16, 2017 - Empowering the Bold Female Leaders of Tomorrow
Dr. Marlene Janzen Le Ber, Associate Professor Dimensions of Leadership, Brescia College will discuss her research, teachings and the development of the "Dimensions of Leadership" program.
Dr. Le Ber states: "The young women I teach are empowered to speak and are not worried about expressing their views, whether those are about spirituality or our place in society. As a result, I am a different and – I hope – a better teacher because of them.”
