Advertising Opportunity - BPW Ontario Annual Report by Carol Kollar, BPWON President
At the Interim Board meeting in November 2009, we discussed what purpose we wanted the Annual Report to have.
It was decided that we will use the Annual Report as a marketing/sponsorship tool and it will be ready to be handed out at the Provincial Conference this year for June 18th, 2010.
The format will change and there will be a lot more advertising space available. The various Clubs should distribute the report to libraries, doctor’s office, dentist offices etc - wherever we can provide information on BPW to the public. The costs for the ads have not changed (range from $85-$150 formembers)and it will provide exposure for the advertisers in the book and also on the BPW Ontario website.
All ads must be sent to

Please remember that it is important to have the ads sent to Kim Beatty no later than March 15, 2010.

BPW Canada News - Winter Newsletter & Club Mailing, Leadership Award and 1 + 1
- The following are highlights from the Winter Newsletter andDecember and late December Club Mailings: Top 10 Things To Do in 2010, Call for Nominations and more below.
Associated attachments for each Club Mailing can be found on the Members Only or Public sections of the BPW Canada website.
- Convention 2010: Things are progressing well with the organization of Convention 2010, which will be held June 19-20, 2010 at the gorgeous Horseshoe Resort in Ontario, about an hour north of Toronto (www.horseshoeresort.com). We are "doing something different" here, and the Convention will be held the same weekend as the Ontario provincial conference. So Ontario sisters - come for one, stay for both! We are working out a very attractive registration package that will make it affordable for all our members. A reminder that 2010 is BPW Canada's 80th anniversary so we will be celebrating and reminiscing about the things we have accomplished in the past 80 years. Plus we will be providing lots of opportunity for BPW members to network with their sisters from across the country. It is not too early to book your room. Be aware that the G8 is happening at nearby Deerhurst Resort shortly afterwards, and the Horseshoe may get the overflow (journalists etc) so better safe than sorry, book your room now. There are ways that YOU, as a BPW member or club and/or as a business owner can get involved: grab bags, advertising in Convention workbook etc. Contact National President,
